Uniform

Our uniform can be purchased from the following two establishments:

Main School Uniform

Girls

  • Grey pinafore dress, skirt (can be either grey or burgundy kilt), school trousers or culottes

  • White blouse

  • Silver/burgundy school tie (elasticated for younger pupils) or school bow.  Year 6 have their own design of tie with a broader stripe.

  • School kilt

  • School summer dress (Summer term and first half of Autumn term only)

  • Burgundy cardigan or v neck jumper with the school badge

  • Grey, black or burgundy tights or white/grey/black socks (not trainer socks).  Tights must be proper children’s tights i.e. the woollen or heavy opaque variety.  Girls in years 5 and 6 may wear the more grown up lighter opaque tights if they wish.

  • Black, flat shoes or sandals (providing they have straps, are not high heeled).  Trainers are not acceptable as school shoes

  • Grey school trousers or shorts

Boys

  • White shirt

  • White polo shirt with school badge (Summer term and first half of Autumn term only)

  • Silver/burgundy school tie (elasticated for younger pupils).  Year 6 have their own design of tie with a broader stripe.

  • Burgundy v neck jumper with the school badge

  • White/grey/black socks (not trainer socks).

  • Burgundy P.E. shirt

  • Burgundy shorts

  • Black elasticated pumps

 
Outdoor P.E. Kit (Years 1-6)
  • Dark Tracksuit (grey, black or burgundy)

  • Burgundy P.E. shirt (same as indoor P.E. kit)

  • Trainers

 

Other Equipment

  • Water Bottle

  • P.E. bag

  • Book Bag (Reception, Years 1 and 2)

  • Rucksack (Years 3-6)

   

Hair

Hair should be neat and tidy for school.  We do not allow shaved heads, razor markings or brightly coloured hair. Hair which is shoulder length or longer must be tied up for health and safety reasons, using a bobble or scrunchy.  Hairbands should be plain and school colours.

 

Make up and Jewellery

No jewellery is permitted, apart from a watch and stud earrings – and then only one earring per ear.  There may be additional items worn of specific religious significance but only after this has been agreed by the Headteacher.  Make up, nail polish and tattoos are not permitted. 

 

Mobile Phones

Mobile phones are not permitted during the school day.  Children bringing phones to school should drop them off at the school office at the start of the day and collect them at the end of the day.  Phones should only be brought into school if necessary e.g. Year 6 walking home at the end of the day alone.
