A warm welcome to St Benedict Biscop CE Primary School, part of St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust. I hope that you find our website useful and informative and that it gives you an insight to our school.

​St Benedict Biscop Primary School is a happy and welcoming school. We aim to provide a supportive environment where every child reaches their full potential. We have been a part of Wombourne since 1883, with strong links to our local Church. Our Christian Values and Vision guide everything that we do. Building on our motto ‘Learning and growing together in Christian friendship’ we follow the teaching of the bible and all children learn to ‘encourage one another and build each other up’. We have high expectations of our children and support them to be successful across a broad and balanced curriculum that develops pupils’ academic, social, physical, moral and spiritual understanding. Our children enjoy coming to school and leave as confident young people ready for the next stage of their education.

​Our children develop their perseverance and teamwork skills in many areas of the curriculum. They represent our school in sporting competitions and as a part of our choir. We actively participate in village events, competitions and performances recognising that we all have a part to play in our local community.​
